Dangerously Alive

Welcome to DANGEROUSLY ALIVE! – a place where the REAL YOU can soar. Where the eagle in you can take flight and reach the highest heights and swoop down with such tenacity you think you’re going to fall, all the while knowing your wings will take you back up again.   Yes – that’s the place I want to go.   The place I want you to go with me.

Step out of the boat.  Step over those problems.  The annoyances.  The hindrances that threaten to derail you time and time again.  And step into your moment.  The one that has been ordained just for you.

Where you and the Creator of the Universe dwells.  A place of peace, tranquility, where power and might reign.  Where He reigns.  And you reign with Him.  You are royalty.  You are majestic.  You are a child of the King.  What are you doing living beneath your privilege?  Beneath your place of destiny. 

You were not meant to live normal, ordinary, mediocre lives.  You were meant to live bold, risky, dangerous lives for the Kingdom of God.  What man or woman of God do you know that played it safe?  That achieved great exploits without conquering great obstacles. 

None! 

Every man and woman of God who has ever said “Give me my mountain” knew it would not easy, but they were fully persuaded that what God had for them, no one was going to keep them from it.  And know that these people were not on the sidelines watching life happen.  They took life and commanded it to be according to the power of God to them. 

And by faith, they “overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight.

Women received their loved ones back again from death.  But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free.

They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection.

Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated.

And the world was NOT worthy of them!!!

And these men of faith, though they trusted God and won his approval, none of them received all that God had promised.

So stop complaining.  What is the world saying about you?  Do they see danger when you come?  Does sickness flee when you pray?  Do neighborhoods align because you are there?  Are businesses better because you make it so?  Take command of your world, your life.  You were made for purpose. 

You were made for destiny.  You were made to change the world.  Stop looking for the easy way out.  Look for that danger spot.  That crevice in the rock of the mountain you are climbing that only God can see you through.  Yes that one.  Now take it.  And JUMP.

YOU MADE IT.    

In one piece.  Yes it was scary.  Yes you couldn’t see the bottom.  Or the way across.  But you made it. 

In fact.  You always do. 

He said he would never leave you nor forsake you. He said He would keep you from falling and present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.  He’s faithful. 

What He has said, that will He do. Keep moving. Keep jumping. Keep leaping. The next Danger Zone is up ahead.l
