What You Will Get:
Power2Excel staff focuses on three areas in editing your work. We provide Developmental Editing services that look at the big picture of your work. We look at chapter organization, overall structure, pacing, flow, voice, and tone.
Second, our Copy Editing services provide the detail-oriented package. We’ll go through your manuscript with a fine-toothed comb, line by line, looking for grammar, spelling, consistency, word choice, and jargon. We’ll also take care of capitalization, punctuation, and any other things that may keep you up at night.
Finally, we handle the Proof Reading of your work. This is the final round before publication. We’ll hunt down typos, weird formatting problems, and any other errors before your masterpiece goes out the door. If you use our self-publishing services, this is the final stage before you publish your work. If you’re going the traditional publishing route, this is the final step before you submit your work to an agent.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Valerie McDowell as my book coach and editor for my first book with I finally finished in January 2021.
